Sustainability in Textile Design: The Green Cycles Symposium

Once again, the Goethe-Institut Thailand facilitates the Green Cycles Symposium together with HAW Hamburg to tackle current challenges in the textile industry. After previous installments focused on natural resources, this year the symposium deals with social sustainability. A virtual programme around the theme "Local Design - International Making" investigates the social responsibility of textile companies. Among the speakers is Sumanatsya Voharn from Chiang Mai University. She will present her research on the industrialisation of local craftsmanship.
