June: Anne Frank’s House
Virtual Reality Exhibition
-
Library, Goethe-Institut Thailand, Bangkok
- Price Free admission
- Part of series: MONTHLY VR TOUR
On 12 June, 1942, shortly before she and her family were forced into hiding, Anne Frank celebrated her thirteenth birthday, and as a present that day, she received her famous diary. Although the young Anne Frank did not survive the holocaust, her diary lives on as a reminder of the horror of the period.
Throughout this June, you’re invited to put on a VR headset and to explore the secret annex where Anne and her family hid, and where her famous diary was written.
You can enjoy the virtual reality experience when a librarian is on hand:
Monday to Thursday 9.30am – 6.00pm
Saturday and Sunday 8.00am – 3.00pm
*VR equipment is not available on Fridays.
Many thanks to Anne Frank House/ Anne Frank Stichting for their assistance with this program.
