BICTFest is back! The Bangkok International Children's Theatre Festival is Thailand's first and only international festival of performative arts for children and young people. With the support of the Goethe-Institut, the festival takes place not only in Bangkok, but also in other locations in Thailand. "Other World on the MOVE" was a co-production by German-based choreographer Alfredo Zinola and Thai theater artist Teerawat Mulvilai (B-Floor Theatre). The piece was produced for BICTFest and supported by the International Co-Production Fund of the Goethe-Institut. In 2021, the play premiered online - due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now the play is being performed physically: Thai artists Kage Mulvilai and Pakhamon Hemachamdra have reworked the original play for the Thai context, creating a Thai version that will be performed at Prem Tinsulanonda International School on 22 - 24 September.
"Kill Your Darlings" by Joshua Monten Dance Company, Switzerland.
This contemporary choreography is inspired by the most popular game played in all schoolyards, "Heaven and Hell," or in English, Hopscotch. Come and see how artists Petr Nedbal and Konstantinos Kranidiotis take the game to its artistic limits.
