Imagine enjoying your favourite coffee, brewed with care by a talented barista. And now imagine how that experience combines with the music of the great classical composers.
For our third music talk, our curator Dr. Akkra Yeunyonghattaporn has invited a special guest for an extraordinary concert: Suono del caffè.
Suono del caffè presents an event that combines coffee and music: "Maestro in the Mug".
Suono del caffè is the project by pianist Pratt Ratanachaya, who combines music and the art of coffee in his concerts. So far, the concerts have taken place in private settings. For the first time, Pratt Ratanachaya presents to a larger audience.
The music programme includes excerpts from Mozart's Oboe Concerto in C major, J.S. Bach's English Suite No. 2 in A minor and Beethoven's Kreutzer Sonata.
The pieces will be played by some of Thailand's best classical musicians:
Kant Lormsomboon, piano
Nuttha Kuankajorn, oboe
Kasina Ansvananda, violin
Barista Sivaphan Orpong of Suono del Caffè has created unique coffee creations for the occasion. Coffee will be served using Canet Musician Series premium coffee beans from Costa Rica.
Pratt Ratanachaya will guide through the evening.
