The German Section of the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University and the Goethe-Institut Thailand have joined together to put on a series of seminars and workshops gathered under the heading of “Translat(e/or)”.

These discussions are open to the public and free of charge. The activities will be held in the Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building in the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University.

Thursday 12 October, 4.30 to 6.00pm in room 401/60
From the standpoint of the translator: A discussion with Jenjira Sereeyothin (freelance translator)
*The discussion will be in Thai, and no knowledge of German will be necessary.

Wednesday 25 October, 5.00 to 6.30pm in room 501/5 
Crafting translations of children’s literature: A translation workshop with SandClock Books
Discussants: Supalak Auntonna, founder and owner of SandClock Books, and Thanacha Saothayanun, translation editor
*Participants in the workshop should speak German to at least a B1 level.
