Thai ElectroAcoustic Music Society (TEAMS) presents “TinyTEAMS: Sonic Ventures — Past, Present, Futures”, a part of the “TinyTEAMS” miniature concert series of electroacoustic music and audiovisual performances. This edition serves as the concluding event of the workshop “Sonic Ventures: Into the New (Sound) World”, reflecting its focus on electroacoustic sound practices from the past, present, and future.

The concert features fixed-media works, live electronics, and audiovisual performances by emerging artists, professional practitioners, and electroacoustic pioneers, with works by CRSRCRSRRR,MahakitMahaniranon, Yishi Zhong,SippapasThienwiwat, and others.

The concert is organised by TEAMS and curated by Sippapas Thienwiwat, with the aim of expanding public access and awareness of electroacoustic music in Thailand through an intimate and exploratory listening experience.

About the Artist

Sippapas Thienwiwat

Composer and Audiovisual Artist

Sippapas Thienwiwat (b. 2006) is a Bangkok-based composer and audiovisual artist working with a wide range of sonic practics. As SKYKYS, he explores audiovisual landscapes of dance music through livecoding, deconstructing and pushing beyond the norm of arrangements and danceability.  

His works as a composer-performer investigate electronic sound production and the transformation of its properties through electroacoustic composition. As an artist-scholar, his electroacoustic works have been presented in the USA, England, Ireland, Germany, Brazil, Ecuador, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand.  

Recent collaborations include BEAST (UK), CEMI (TX, USA), EMuSe (NY, USA), Sonic Officer (HK), Triphens Ensemble (TH), and TACETi Ensemble (TH). Sippapas currently serves as the President and Diffusion Artist of the Thai ElectroAcoustic Music Society (TEAMS).
