TK-Park, Central World, 8th Floor, Bangkok
Have you ever wondered what your future with German could look like?
Whether it’s studying, completing vocational training, or working in Germany – or even pursuing a career with a German company here in Thailand: German opens up perspectives that go far beyond the classroom. If you’re curious about the opportunities that German language skills can offer, then the Goethe-Institute’s Career Day “Unlock Your Perspectives with German(y)” is the event for you!
On 15 March, an inspiring day full of information, ideas, and personal encounters awaits you at TK Park (CentralWorld, 8th floor). In live interviews, guests will share their experiences with German employers as well as insights about their lives and careers in Germany. This year, Khun TorJitraphan will also join the panel “Make the Right Choice! – Opportunities with German(y)”, where he will share his personal experiences with the German language and work culture. Another highlight is our special guest from Germany, Frank Kettner-Nikolaus, who will present pathways and career opportunities in the field of nursing in “Careers in Care: Your Future in Germany”. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and engage in conversation. Furthermore, you will get an overview of the many different ways to Germany: the DAAD will inform you about the advantages of studying in Germany; in addition, guests from Thailand will share their personal experiences– from vocational training to a voluntary year in Germany.
Of course, hands-on experience won’t be missing either:
In “Destination Hannover: Perspectives and Opportunities with the Buhmannschule”, Prof. Dr. Matthias Limbach will provide valuable first-hand information about a possible educational pathway in Germany. In our application training “Mastering the Application Process”, you’ll get to know yourself better and receive valuable tips for the German application process. Additionally, in “Interview Smarter, Get Hired Faster,” an HR expert will guide you through job interviews. The workshop “Living in Germany, Made Easy – A Guide to Stress-Free Bureaucracy” provides essential information to help you prepare for your journey to Germany, while “Germany: The (Small) Things That Matter” supports you in developing intercultural understanding. During our speed dating sessions, you’ll also have the chance to speak directly with people who have already studied or worked in Germany in short, focused conversations (register here). If you’re interested in getting to know the German language or in learning German with Goethe-Institute Thailand, you can also take part in a short trial lesson.
On site, you can also connect with representatives at numerous information booths, including the Goethe-Institute, DAAD, Lufthansa, and many more, and build valuable contacts. And because learning should be rewarded, a tombola with great prizes will be waiting for you at the end – including vouchers for German courses at the Goethe-Institute, a German restaurant, and other Goethe goodies.
Take the opportunity to discover new paths and actively shape your future, so secure your spot at “Unlock Your Perspectives with German(y)” – we look forward to seeing you on March 15!
