The concert showcases young, talented violinists who participated in the Thailand NEW Virtuosi Summer Academy 2026. The academy was founded in 2025 by four leading Thai violin pedagogues: Jirajet Jesadachet, Visanee Vongvirulh, Varissara Tanakom, and Pattapol Jirasuttisarn. Three of them were winners of the Beethoven National Competition for String Players organised by the Goethe-Institut Thailand in 2010 and 2014, and two of them went on to further their studies in Germany and Austria.

Hoping to provide the same atmosphere as a European violin-specialised summer course, they organise this exclusive short-term educational programme to nurture and transform young violinists towards European standards. This showcase will be one important lesson for these young musicians. The concert will showcase short solo virtuosic performances by each participant as well as chamber music pieces, which participants will perform in small groups with their friends.
