Vylla

The VYLLA American Music Exchange Tour highlights international cultural exchange through live performance, youth music education, and community engagement. Supported by the Goethe-Institut, this tour connects artists with audiences across Colorado while supporting iAM MUSIC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to youth music education, mentorship, and community outreach through music. Through performances, educational presentations, and festival appearances, VYLLA will engage communities with programming that bridges international artistry and local music culture.

Vylla is an electronic jazz trio from Hanover and Basel, consisting of Sophia Göken (vocals, synth, piano), Benedikt Bienert (drums), and Michel Lühring (electric bass). VYLLA was founded in 2022 by jazz students from the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media (HMTMH). VYLLA writes and performs exclusively original compositions that blend jazz, soul, hip-hop, funk, electronica, and experimental pop.
