Goethe-Institut certificates for students at colleges and universities
Your students can take the Goethe-Institut certificate examinations at your college or university even without being a certified Goethe-Institut examination center. If you have 10 or more candidates, please contact the Goethe-Institut branch office responsible for your state at least 6 weeks prior to the planned examination date. Two certified examiners of the Goethe-Institut or a nearby examinations center will conduct the examination at your location. The written portions may be taken the previous day under your supervision. Your students pay only the standard exam fees for external participants in the US.

The Goethe-Institut examinations for young learners Fit in Deutsch A1/A2/B1 not only allow you to compare your students’ language proficiency with other students of German around the world, but they also motivate your students to continue learning German. Please contact the Goethe-Institut branch office responsible for your state to discuss how to effectively prepare your class and arrange for all your students take the exams. Two certified examiners of the Goethe-Institut or a nearby examination center will conduct the examinations at your school. The standard exam fees for participants in the US apply (discounts for entire classes possible).
