Evening Front-Desk Associate

Full time position (100%) = 40 hours/week; Temporary position until December 31, 2020

We convey a comprehensive picture of Germany through information on the cultural, social, and political life of our country. Responsibilities:

  • Preparation, development, and implementation of the Digital Wanderbus – as a digital Roadshow along the German-American sister cities
  • Developing a concept for Digital Wanderbus in conjunction with the director of language programs
  • Coordinate the logistics and obtaining necessary permits for the execution of the digital Roadshow
  • Independent implementation of project content
  • Development of a communication concept for the Digital Wanderbus in cooperation with director of language programsPreparation, development and implementation of further projects in cooperation with the director of language programs
  • Correspond and coordinate with local and international partners in both German and English
  • Evaluation and reporting after completion of the project 
Requirements:
  • University degree (BA or higher)
  • Relevant experience in event coordination, preferably digital projects and exhibitions
  • Knowledge of both German/US educational landscape preferred
  • Ability to travel within the United States
  • Team player, with a willingness for flexible hours and the ability to work under stress
  • Native or near-native English and/or German language proficiency
