Science Fair 2026, an annual festival celebrating science and culture, will take place from 9–11 October 2026 at 257 Hoang Van Thu, Tan Son Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. Expanded to three days and open free of charge to the public, the festival creates a dynamic space where science, technology, education, and the arts intersect under the theme “A Conversation with the Future: AI – Society – Responsibility.”

“A conversation” – Science Fair 2026’s Approach to AI

While artificial intelligence has often been discussed primarily as a technological development, it is increasingly shaping the everyday life of each of us, how we learn, work, create, communicate and understand the world. The use of AI raises urgent questions about ethics, creativity, education, sustainability and inclusion and ultimately about the future of our societies. Therefore, Science Fair 2026 places AI within a broader context, recognizing its profound connections with society, culture, art, ethics, the economy, and the environment to tackle the questions such as: What can AI do? How is AI changing us? And as technology becomes ever more embedded in our lives, how can we engage with it responsibly?

The theme “A conversation with the Future: AI – Society – Responsibility” reflects Science Fair 2026’s commitment to approaching technology through discussion, reflection, experimentation, and exchange. Rather than simply presenting information about AI, the festival aims to create an inclusive platform where diverse audiences - no matter which age, gender, educational background - can enter the conversation in their own ways.

Science Fair 2026 is built around four key principles: entertaining, informative, curious, and inclusive. Science is therefore not confined to lectures or expert discussions, but explored through film, art, workshops, experiments, literature, sound, food, and interactive experiences.
