Berlin-based Russian-Israeli musician

The Berlin-based Russian-Israeli singer Mary Ocher has for over a decade used her art to creatively tackle ideas of displacement, authority, gender, nationalism and other acute topics linked to her background and complex identity.

Her music ranges from traditional folk to raw 60s garage, ambient with ethereal vocals and experimental pop. The Goethe-Institut supports Mary Ocher's tour to Australia and New Zealand in September 2019.
