About the Bengal film-
Presently there is a silent trace of few Jew people in ever-changing Bangladesh without any official record. Even fifty years ago, this Infinitesimal group has a prominent presence within the variegated society of East Bengal. One of my Old Friends is a film-ode in search of these unknown and untold people.  Here the reality develops with the blend of fact and fiction.

About the director:
Swajan Majhi is a nationally recognized and award winner Bangladeshi young filmmaker. He got his Filmmaking PGD from ‘Bangladesh Cinema and Television Institute’ (BCTI). Swajan believes that despite being an art, filmmaking is the documentation of time, space and mind. Beside filmmaking, he is researching on film language of Bangladesh.
