This film cycle is an invitation to discover works that bring to light stories and memories that have long been marginalized. Through documentaries, feature films, and experimental films, this film series offers unique insights into contemporary Germany while exploring the connections between identity, belonging, and memory.

Curatorial statement

I conceived this program as an invitation to discover works that bring to light stories and memories long left on the margins. Through documentary, fiction, and experimental film, these films offer unique perspectives on contemporary Germany by exploring the connections between identity, belonging, and memory.

What unites them is their ability to create a dialogue between the personal and collective history. In my own work, I’m interested in those spaces where personal narratives become acts of transmission. By bringing these films together, I hope to share works that shift our perspective and open a space for reflection on the stories that continue to shape our present.

Die Filme

    The Aryans

A dizzying journey in which narratives of hatred reveal their own fragility. The film ventures into the heart of ideologies that distort reality and questions how myths, fears, and inherited legacies continue to shape how we see the world.

A sensitive portrait of a woman forging her own path between memory, heritage, and emancipation. A luminous reflection on identity, transmission, and the quiet power of a voice that transforms the way we see.

    Blue Window

Amid winter landscapes and inhabited silences, beings search for one another through absence. The places themselves seem to carry a secret memory, where time, wounds, and invisible bonds echo back and forth.

Through individual trajectories, a collective memory emerges, shaped by resilience and belonging. The film restores a voice to those whose stories have too often been told by others, revealing the quiet strength of paths long rendered invisible.
