Nina lives with her husband Marc, a bank employee who maintains the image of a reliable family man on the outside. Secretly, she is saving money so she can escape with her daughter Maya.

Her best friend Angie is a single mother struggling to make ends meet – with a big heart, a sharp tongue, and a remarkable talent for finding herself in the most difficult situations. When her daughter Rahel needs 300 euros for a school trip, Angie desperately tries to find a way to get the money. Neither her boss nor Nina can help her. What Angie doesn’t know is that Nina is saving every available cent for her planned escape.

When Marc discovers Nina’s savings and takes them away, every possible way out seems blocked. Shortly afterwards, Angie asks him for a small loan at the bank. One moment of humiliation is enough to turn an ordinary bank visit into a catastrophe with unforeseen consequences. Through a chain of absurd events, a gun ends up in Angie’s hands – and suddenly the bank becomes the scene of a hostage situation.

As the police surround the building, Nina makes a life-changing decision: instead of taking her chance to flee, she enters the bank with Maya. Amid panic, unexpected alliances and moments of involuntary comedy, the boundaries between control and chaos, fear and courage begin to blur. With every passing hour, the pressure rises – until no one can hide who they truly are.
