Achtung Film!

Cinéma Goethe the monthly film series presented by the Goethe-Institut, is now called ACHTUNG FILM! and back in the cinema!

Once a month, Cinéma Cartier shows the richness and diversity of contemporary German cinema with feature films and documentaries, bold and entertaining productions by established and emerging directors.

The programme for this winter and spring revolves around the theme of resilience and focuses on people who demonstrate the ability to overcome difficult life situations. It highlights the social conditions faced by these people, their families, their communities and society in general. The series addresses the issues such as racism, but also the strength of individuals in the face of intolerance, as well as self-assertion, sexual empowerment and the power of community.
