European-Canadian Jazz trio on tour across Canada
Hübsch, Martel, Zoubek - a viola da gamba, a tuba and a piano coming together. The result is an experimental music interaction that seems mysterious, quiet and free.
The musicians' technique creates a musical diversity that transports the audience into another world. Carl Ludwig Hübsch is one of the biggest and most creative modern jazz composers.
The jazz trio Hübsch Martel Zoubek has been playing together since 2012. Since releasing their first album June 16th on the Berlin-based label Schraum, they have performed concerts across Europe, two of which were recorded by the Austrian National Radio and Radio-France.
Carl Ludwig Hübsch (Germany) - tuba, objects
Pierre-Yves Martel (Canada) - viola da gamba, objects
Philip Zoubek (Austria) – piano
