Ever wondered what is going on behind the city’s façades? This might be your chance to find out: On May 25 - 26, Doors Open Toronto returns in its 20th year providing the opportunity to explore some of the most architecturally, historically, culturally and socially significant buildings across the city.
As
the centre for contemporary Germany culture in downtown Toronto and beyond, the Goethe-Institut is delighted to be part of an event that showcases our various programs in the areas of culture, language and information. Visitors are welcome to browse our extensive library, play board games, win prizes by spinning a wheel of fortune and take a crash course in German.
Our interactive language classes will be offered every hour from 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM. These sample classes provide the guests with basic communicative skills in German through games, songs, state-of-the-art technology and extraordinary teaching methods.
This year’s anniversary theme is “20 Something”, celebrating the first 20 years of Doors Open Toronto while looking forward to the next 20 years.
We'll be open from 10 AM - 5 PM. Drop in any time, all of our activities will be on offer throughout the day and free of charge.
