QueerKino
Movie Series | German Queer Cinema for Pride Month
In June, the Goethe-Institut Toronto celebrates Pride Month with a special film series:
QueerKino. Over three evenings, we invite you to experience bold, tender, and defiant stories from contemporary German cinema that explore queer lives and identities through diverse lenses and genres.
From coming-of-age in the heat of a Berlin summer to queer resistance in 19th-century aristocracy, and diasporic queer love in the margins of modern Germany, QueerKino spotlights voices and visions that challenge convention and embrace transformation.
The lineup:
Join us in celebrating Diversity, queer cinema, queer voices, and queer futures!
