Staying somewhere overnight for the first time?! It is very exciting and thrilling, but it can also be uncertain and often scary. That is how Kalle and Elsa feel. But like many things in life that you do for the first time, you manage it and afterwards you feel like you have grown a little bit.
Kalle is spending the night at Elsa's house today, and they want to stay up all night watching owls and the moon. They come up with the idea of building a rocket and exploring space.
Jenny Westin Verona's picture book with its beautiful illustrations by Jesús Verona encourages children and shows that there is no need to be afraid of the night and the darkness.
The book is a German children's book, suitable for ages 4 and up.
Afterwards, we will be crafting Kalle and Elsa in their rocket.
