If German is not your native language and if you have less than four years of experience in teaching German, the Goethe-Institut’s two-week summer school in Germany is a great opportunity for your professional development.
The summer school will take place from July 16 – July 29 (with an online preparation phase running from June 19 – July 7) in Schwäbisch Hall. This professional development course includes methodical and didactic competency training, a language course and German class observations. All expenses, except for the transatlantic flight, are paid by the Goethe-Institut. However, you have the opportunity to apply for a $300 travel subsidy. The registration deadline is March 31.
