Springboard Danse Montréal is a not-for-profit organization that connects hand-selected, elite performers with influential and renowned companies and choreographers from around the world in Montréal. It also actively contributes to the cultural life of Montréal through various installations and pop-up performances throughout the city during the summer.
 
Platform 2018
In a special partnership with Place des Arts established in 2015, the Resident and Emerging Choreographer Platform showcases our Resident and Emerging Choreographers at the l’Espace Culturel Georges-Emile-Lapalme in the heart of Montréal’s Place des arts. This is a rare opportunity for these artists to present their work in one of North America’s most prestigious arts venues.

Jasmine Ellis, resident Choreographer

Jasmine Ellis is a Canadian choreographer and dance film director based out of Munich Germany. A Jasmine Ellis © Jasmine Ellis graduate of Etobicoke School of the Arts, The School of Toronto Dance Theatre and Codarts Rotterdam Conservatory, Ellis has worked professionally in dance as a performer and choreographer since 2006. She has worked with companies and choreographes such as Dorky Park – Costanza Marcas (Germany), Aléatoire Collison (Netherlands), Zata Omm – William Young (Canada), Satellit Produktion – David Russo (Germany), Bayerische Staatsoper (Germany), Edan Gorlicki (Netherlands), Ido Batash (Island), Anna Reiti (Hungary), Audrey Bergeron (Canada), Brodie Stevenson (Canada).
