Anmeldung Not Possible
Goethe-Institut Toronto X Club Q|Are you ready to dance?

Online
Join us Friday, Janaury 29th, for an online ZOOM dance party, presented in partnership with Club Q.
Club Q is hosted on Zoom, a video communications app. The organization has hosted 100+ parties and has transformed the conferencing app into a lively queer social experience. Each party includes a variety of performers from DJs to drag performers, pole artists, dancers, and more.
But the performers aren’t the only stars of the night! Each night a professional moderator controls the video feed to highlight hundreds of attendees to enhance the club-going experience. But don't worry, you'll be on mute, and you can decide whether or not you want the camera on. All are welcome, but we recommend an older audience for this event.
Featuring sets from German and Germany-based artists Young Lychee, GIL, Folly Ghost, and Iku, the night willl surely help set aside the COVID blues for a moment or two.
No need to register! Just log on to zoom and type in the meeting code 819 5191 5488.
The theme of our party "Anmeldung Not Possible", is taken from a post that went viral in Berlin, advertising a bathroom as a room for rent for 100 EUR a week. We hope this party draws attention to the precarious housing situation of many young people in this time of Pandemic.

Club Quarantine is a quickly evolving online club created in response to Covid-19 preventative measures. What started as a video call between four socially deprived friends - recording artist Andrés Sierra, comedian Brad Allen, DJ and recording artist Casey MQ, and digital creator Mingus New - has now gained 70k Instagram followers; hosted parties with Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, and Laverne Cox; and been featured in countless publications including The New York Times, The Cut, and Pitchfork.
As a queer, not-for-profit, it will forever be our primary goal to support QTBIPOC artists during a time where there is little opportunity for them to work.
