Berlin is the city that never is and always will be - always in the process of becoming. The films gathered here, older and newer classics of German film history, paint a portrait of the changeable city, from the postwar period, to the socialist renewal efforts of the GDR, to the reunited, self-reinventing metropolis of the present.
