The Goethe-Institut Cyprus would like to draw your attention to selected events with works from Germany within the framework of the POETRY MOVES INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL, organised by GSA CULTURAL PRODUCTIONS.

The POETRY MOVES INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL, a new festival in Nicosia, is based on the thought that the beginning of everything is POETRY, therefore POETRY will be the core of the festival. The purpose is to strengthen the ties and develop the dialogue of poetry and other arts (music, exhibitions, contemporary dance etc.) in order to redefine Delacroix’s phrase

“There is no art without poetry”

and to expand the field of artistic action, reference and innovative creation.

The theme of the first edition of the Festival 2023 is Women’s World Poetry.
