The intercultural and anti-racist platform #StopHatredNow takes place virtually in May. The event creates new discourse on diversity, inclusivity, power structures and intersectionally feminist strategies. This year’s theme is Reshaping Horizons of Hope.

The past year has been a catastrophe for many. In the midst of all the trouble, fear and worry, this year’s #StopHatredNow strives to find ways of coming together and to actively dream about future – anti-racist, feminist and diverse – horizons. How does one continue to dream norm-critically in the middle of a crisis? How can this crisis become a chance for change, a chance to re-negotiate old and tired structures? This year’s event focuses on community, youths, organisation and questions regarding responsibility. The goal is to empower others so that even in the midst of a crisis, people continue to have the strength to actively dream and create horizons of hope.

#StopHatredNow includes free-of-charge lectures, discussions, artistic results, and workshops that offer tools for learning and concrete work. The week is host to a series of events, including a panel discussion on inclusion and accessibility on the dance field moderated by dancer and performer Maija Karhunen, and various discussions on themes such as mental health, youth and agency, and normative bodies. Guests include Pauliina Feodoroff, Flis Holland, Feminist Culture House and Miriam Attias.
