Guest curator Rastko Novaković will open the screening with an introduction to the film.
After ten years of marriage, Marianne surprises her husband Bruno with the spontaneous decision to separate from him in order to live alone with their eight-year-old son and leave her life in a Paris suburb. Initially, Bruno does not object. His later attempts to reconcile with her are unsuccessful. Marianne has broken with her old habits and given up her material security; now she is starting a new life, marked by loneliness and a certain caution, but also by firm determination.
