David Summerville

Hi! I’m David and I’m a teacher of German and French at Bishopbriggs Academy in East Dunbartonshire in Scotland. I’ve been working in Bishopbriggs since 2020, but have been teaching in Scotland since 2006. Over the years I have gained a lot of experience working with pupils at all levels- from P6 in Primary right up to S6 in Secondary. I have led numerous trips and exchanges abroad, and have the pleasure of working closely with several organisations to promote German. I am passionate about motivating pupils for the German language and enjoy using contemporary resources, as well as technology with my classes. Without a doubt, my favourite place to visit in Germany is Berlin- there is nowhere else quite like it!
