Across ten themed episodes, pupils are gently introduced to the idea of learning another language — and how much fun it can be. Emma, our presenter, together with Felix and Franzi, guide children through everyday situations in Germany — entirely in German. Pupils are encouraged to:

Hello and how are you?

It’s Felix the Frog and Franzi the Duck, popping out of their bright yellow letterbox to say Hallo! In this first video, Felix and Franzi meet Emma and invite children to learn their very first German greetings. Through songs, listening activities and playful repetition, pupils discover how to say hello and ask how someone is feeling — all in German.
