Worldwide there is a shortage of qualified DaF (Deutsch als Fremdsprache) teachers. The training, advanced training, and continuing professional development Deutsch Lehren Lernen® (DLL) from the Goethe-Institut addresses exactly this issue: through university cooperation, the Goethe-Institut promotes a scientifically-based and practice-oriented training for future German teachers.
