Are you ready to step into the surreal world of Franz Kafka? Join us for a unique and interactive day where German language, literature, and theatre collide!
This exciting event is designed for Y9-13 students who  are curious about Kafka, theatre, and creative storytelling.

What’s in store?
  • Physical Theatre Workshop – Led by a Lyric Theatre practitioner, this workshop brings Kafka’s Die Verwandlung (Metamorphosis) to life through movement and performance. Inspired by Frantic Assembly, students will explore how to tell stories with their bodies.
  • Komplett Kafka Exhibition & Workshop – Discover Kafka like never before! This comic-style poster exhibition introduces students to Kafka’s works, the art of Nicolas Mahler, and relatable themes from Kafka’s world. During the interactive workshop you will:
    • Talk about clothing and self-expression
    • Navigate city maps and plan a journey
    • Create your own comic-inspired stories
    • Bonus: Take part in a fun quiz and win small prizes!

Cost: GBP 10.00 per student (teachers can attend for free)
Lunch: Bring a packed lunch or grab a bite at the Lyric Theatre café.
