Got a short film and wondering where it can go next? As part of the In Short, Europe series of panel discussions, this event is for emerging filmmakers. It brings together people who decide how short films reach audiences, on the festival circuit and online.

Speakers:
Lola Lambert is Co-Head of Festival Distribution at interfilm International Short Film Festival Berlin and a programmer for KUKI, the international short film festival for children and youth.

Matt Lloyd has been Director of Glasgow Short Film Festival since 2010 and has guest-curated screenings across the UK, Europe and beyond.

Nathan Haines is a London-based filmmaker, co-founder of the film platform CenterFrame, and runs the British Short Film Awards and the CenterFrame Curated YouTube showcase, which has more than 211,000 subscribers.

The discussion is moderated by Sanne Jehoul, founder of onzer films, commissioning editor at Talking Shorts and former programme director of Glasgow Short Film Festival.

They’ll explain how festival selection works, how distribution and festival runs are planned, and what online platforms can do for your film, in the UK and across Europe.

The format is a 60-minute discussion and a 15-minute audience Q&A, followed by a networking reception where you can meet the speakers and other filmmakers. It’s particularly useful for students, early-career filmmakers and creatives with European roots working in the UK screen industries.

Presented by EUNIC London with support from the Delegation of the European Union to the UK, hosted by the Goethe-Institut London.
