Spring Social at the Goethe-Institut London

Celebrate the season with us on Saturday, 21 March 2024, from 1–5 pm in the library of the Goethe-Institut in South Kensington.

As we mark the end of course term, we warmly invite all German speakers to join us for this special Spring Social at the Goethe-Institut. Meet fellow learners from other classes, practise your German in a relaxed setting, and connect with the wider German-speaking community in London.

This event is hosted by the Goethe-Institut and organised in cooperation with the German Meet-Up group and the German Student Society at Imperial College.

Second-Hand Book Sale & Book Swap

From 1:00 pm, we will be offering a wide selection of German second-hand books and former library treasures for sale.
From 2:00 pm onwards, additional German books brought by members of our community will also be available as part of the book sale and swap.

Speak-Dating Sessions

Practise your German, learn new simple terms, and meet new people in our speak-dating rounds — especially ideal for our course participants who would like to build confidence speaking outside the classroom.
Each 30-minute session takes place at:

• 2:00 pm
• 3:00 pm
• 4:00 pm

Free Lemonade and biscuits will be served throughout the afternoon.
