KinoTage - Experience German Cinema

Join us for the first edition of KinoTage – Cinema Days, a four-day celebration of German cinema at the Goethe-Institut London, featuring films for both public audiences and school groups. Please find all dates below.

From silent film classics to contemporary cinema, the programme brings together remarkable stories, unforgettable characters and special guests. Travel from a North Sea island to Munich, from fairy-tale worlds to the realm of master criminals, while exploring themes of coming of age, social division, migration, and our connections with plants and ghosts. We are particularly delighted to welcome director Julian Radlmaier and acclaimed Hungarian filmmaker Ildikó Enyedi for conversations about their work. The programme also pays tribute to the enduring legacy of Fritz Lang and Lotte Reiniger.
