Through curated screenings of selected Seriale Indonesia titles, open discussions, and informal exchanges with creators, Road to Seriale Sumedang offers a space to explore the development of series in Indonesia—from creative processes and storytelling strategies to distribution pathways and networking opportunities. The collaboration with SSFF situates series culture within an existing short film community, highlighting the relevance of episodic storytelling for regional filmmakers.
Sumedang Short Film Festival
The Sumedang Short Film Festival is an annual event that brings together independent filmmakers, film enthusiasts, and local communities in an organised creative platform. First held in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, it aimed to support Sumedang’s creative economy, tourism, culture, and education, initially featuring only films by Sumedang-based filmmakers.
