Digital technologies are often perceived as a threat to indigenous languages because they favour dominant languages and marginalise others. But could they also form part of the solution?

During the fifth event in the Digital Discourse 2025 series, participants will discuss the practical initiatives of digital activism for Indigenous languages. Topics to be discussed include creating digital activism workshops for Indigenous language speakers, building the social media presence of Indigenous scripts and languages, and working with various projects related to Indigenous languages.
