يمرّ لبنان والعالم بأوقات عصيبة في هذه الأيام، ما يؤثّر جدًا على موارد الفنانين وقدرتهم على متابعة ممارساتهم وتطويرها وتأمين عيشهم. وبات الاطلاع على الفرص المتاحة للفنانين من الحاجات الماسة، لذا نوّد لفت انتباهكم إلى مجموعة من البرامج المقدّمة والفرص المالية وفرص التوجيه وفرص الإنتاج المشترك وفرص أخرى من شبكاتنا قد تهمّ الفنانين القائمين في لبنان.

تجدر الإشارة إلى أنّه يجب إرسال الطلبات من خلال المعهد الذي يقوم بالاتصال وليس من خلال معهد جوتيه في لبنان، ما لم يتم تحديد غير ذلك.

PROMOTION OF MUSIC RESIDENCIES IN GERMANY

This grant is to enable performing artists working in the field of music from developing and transition countries to prepare new international programmes and productions with partners in Germany. The object of the programme is to promote international artistic collaboration and intensive cultural exchange on a partnership basis.

Artists' Houses in Germany

Artists' houses support professional artists of all disciplines by providing them with studio space and accommodation for limited periods of time, often combined with the award of a stipend or grant. They are international meeting places and centres of cultural and creative exchange. On the following pages, the various artists' houses in Germany are listed with an outline of their programmes and selection procedures.

Culture | Smart City Connections: Open Call

This Open Call uses the optic of the “smart city” to critically explore the shifting and increasingly complex relations between culture and technology in urban landscapes. This under-explored parallel consideration of culture and technology offer unique ways for a deeper understanding of emergent modalities of culture, creativity and the city. Importantly, this Open Call will depict the “smart city” as a meeting of diverse actors and actants that enable multiple narratives, varying flights of thought and un / intended consequences, rather than a complete, opaque and indifferent system operating in the background.

UN/CONTROLLED GESTURES

The Goethe-Institut is launching the 2nd Edition of “Un/controlled gestures”, a project that supports choreographic creations in the Arabic speaking countries. The 2nd edition will focus on “Questioning the power of the body language to imagine new futures today”. Ten artists from and based in the Arabic speaking countries will be selected. The Goethe-Institut provides financial support for the productions and accompanies artists from conception to implementation.

Beirut Cinema Platform – 6th Edition

Brings together Arab filmmakers with potential partners from around the world. Co-producers, sales agents, fund and festival representatives, and whomever else might help them bring their film projects to the big screen. The upcoming edition of BCP will focus on the eminent potential of the selected films for impacting social and political realities. As such, Beirut DC fosters a safe and open meeting space for Arab filmmakers to team up with professionals from around the globe and build partnerships, collaborations, and co-productions.

TRANSLATING THEATRE – 23RD INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP MÜHLHEIM

The International Theatre Institute Germany, together with the Mühlheimer Theatertage “Stücke 2022”,
and with the support of the Goethe-Institut, invites translators of German-language drama to a
workshop from the 20th – 29th of May, 2022.
The call for applications is open to professional drama translators from all over the world who translate
from German into their own native language and have close working relationships to theatres in their
home country.

Biennale College Musica: New Calls for Applications for 2022

The new calls for the Biennale College Musica 2022 is addressed to young composers and performers from Italy and abroad between the ages of 18 and 30 years old. Biennale College Musica 2022 is dedicated to experimental musical theatre, the theme chosen by the director Lucia Ronchetti for the 66th International Festival of Contemporary Music of La Biennale di Venezia (Out of Stage, 14 > 25 September 2022).
