Jowe Harfouche is the Executive Director of the Network of Arab Alternative Screens (NAAS), a regional organization that supports more than 20 cinema spaces offering alternative film programming in the Arab world. 
He is also a filmmaker. With 'Ginger Beirut', he produced feature films for the likes of Ghassan Salhab, Nadine Labaki, Simon El Haber, Vatché Boulghourjian, Rabih Mroué, Alia Farid, and Mark Lewis, working in various roles ranging from line producer and assistant director to post-producer and editor. As an independent filmmaker, he edited the feature film '28 Nights and a Poem' by Akram Zaatari, directed music videos for artists Mashrou’ Leila and Aziza, as well as viral video campaigns for local and regional NGO’s. Born and raised in Lebanon, Harfouche lives in Beirut.
