Library Officer Simulation (09:00–11:00 & 12:00–14:00)
Ever wondered what it’s like to work in a library? In this simulation program, participants step into the role of a library officer for a day. From cataloguing items in our library system, to assisting with VR stations, PlayStation 5,wrapping book covers and e-library services, this is a great opportunity to get behind the scenes of a modern library.
Open to students aged 15–20, with two time slots (5 participants each), this workshop encourages curiosity about careers in information and media services.
Sonic_Thread: Sound/Code/Play (14:00–17:00)
Explore the world of sound, code, and creativity! This hands-on workshop introduces students to creative coding, focusing on how to generate music through programming. Using accessible tools like Pure Data (Pd), participants will experiment with rhythm, pitch, and melodies to create their own audio-visual piece.
Designed for students ages 15–20+ with basic coding experience, the session blends digital skills with artistic expression in a fun, exploratory setting.
