Exactly one year ago, the legendary German set designer Manuel Lütgenhorst died in his adopted country, Thailand. A commemorative exhibition devoted to the work of this multi-talented artist, who also wrote plays and arranged stage performances, is presently being shown at the BACC.

The art and training centre Empty Space Chiang Mai (ESC), which was founded by Lütgenhorst, is organizing this extraordinary multimedia exhibition at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Thailand. Lütgenhorst worked as a stage designer all over the world and inspired many other artists. He was one of the most influential advisors of the modern theatre scene in Thailand. Today, his work, life and way of thinking are still a source of fascination and inspiration for many people interested in the arts.

The exhibition shows the entire scope of Manuel Lütgenhorst's work. Films and plays will be shown and there will also be concerts and discussions.

The exhibition opens on February 1st and runs until February 10th at the BACC (4th floor).
