Migration is more than movement. It is a shared human experience.

"Routes & Roots" brings together artists, activists, diaspora communities, and people with lived experience for a series of international online conversations exploring migration through four interconnected stages: origin, transit, destination, and return. Through art, personal storytelling, and lived experience, the series creates a space for meaningful dialogue and exchange, inviting participants to look beyond headlines and engage with the human experiences at the heart of migration.

The series consists of four conversations centered on interconnected, though not necessarily linear, stages of migration: origin, transit, destination, and return. Bringing together diverse voices from across regions and disciplines, these discussions examine the complexities of migration and the ways it influences and enriches societies, identities, and collective imaginaries.

All conversations will be streamed live on Zoom and are open to participants worldwide. Information about the first session is currently available, with details for the remaining conversations to be added soon. The overview below (scroll down to the dark blue section) will be updated as additional sessions are announced. Click on an individual session to learn more and register.
