With its residence programs, the Goethe-Institut would like to offer a "space for new perspectives" and every year invites artists and creators of culture to live and work for a while in a different country and culture.
Especially in the age of globalisation, it is particularly inspiring for cultural workers to anchor their work in very specific places and to pursue their projects for a while free of economic aspects and to establish or deepen sustainable working contacts.
The Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan in Delhi is awarding two fellowships for a residency programme at the Alice Boner Institute in Varanasi, India. The residencies will be for the periods: September - October 2020 and November - December 2022.
