Participation for EU officials from Brussels and Luxembourg and ministerial officials from the permanent representations of EU member states (language level B2/C1)
News about digital election manipulation is on the rise and internet platforms are becoming increasingly powerful. What does this mean for our democracy and is it sufficiently protected by EU measures such as the Digital Services Act and the AI Act? We want to explore these and other questions during our weekend German course.

- Language course units about the risks of fake news and the power of tech giants, protection of democracy and the rule of law through regulation (DSA and AI Act)
- Day trip to Cologne
Visit to Museum Ludwig with guided tour by Sylvia Binger on the topic of ‘Democracy in art’
Visit to the WDR radio and television production studios in Cologne and meeting - Meeting with Paul Nemitz, former Chief Advisor for Strategies for Digital Change, DG Justice, EU Commission about his book ‘Principle of Man: Power, Freedom and Democracy in the Age of Artificial Intelligence’
