As part of its Europanetzwerk Deutsch programme and with the kind support of the German Embassy to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Goethe-Institut Brussels invites you to the following event:
Belgium and Germany at the start of the year. What topics will 2026 bring? What challenges do the two countries face? Where are the parallels, where are the differences? And how do the ambassadors perceive each other's countries?
Join the discussion with two leading experts in the field: Martin Kotthaus, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Belgium since 2018, former head of the European Department in Berlin and now in Belgium for the second time, and Piet Heirbaut, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Berlin for the past year, who spent his Erasmus year in Würzburg.
If you are interested, please register by 26 January.
