Participation for EU officials and ministerial officials from EU member states/accession candidate countries with working relationships with the EU institutions

Language level: B2 – C1

The free Hanseatic city of Hamburg lies at the heart of Europe and, as a port city, has always had global trading relations. As a result, the city’s dynamic development is closely entwined with global politics and shaped by European trade agreements. How is this world order currently changing and what role is being played by the ‘Belt and Road Initiative’ being planned by China? How does Hamburg view the ‘Green Deal’ and what is the future of hydrogen in the port city? We get to the bottom of these issues together in a highly varied programme. The intensive language course provides you with the opportunity to refresh your knowledge of German, to expand your professional network and to discuss current issues in European politics with German colleagues. The dates of the sessions are based on your preferences and are prepared for and followed up on in the language course. The course is also accompanied by a diverse cultural programme. The Senate Chancellery of Hamburg is the partner of this course.
