Together with multimedia artist and game designer Stella Jacob, we will explore how games can be more than just entertainment - they also reflect and can influence political and social structures. In this workshop, participants will learn how game rules and mechanics can represent power structures, justice and community organisation. Using accessible tools such as Twine, Bitsy, Godot and Decker - software that makes it possible to create games without advanced programming skills - participants will have the opportunity to develop their own experimental games. The focus is on interactive storytelling and decision-making mechanisms in game design.

The Art Meets Tech series explores visual art, music, narrative and craft, highlighting technologies such as AI, Web3, immersive technologies, digital fabrication and creative coding. With predominantly online workshops and hybrid formats, the programme offers hands-on experiences, critical discussions and networking within a diverse European community. It invites you to discover how technology is reshaping art and how art is redefining technology - a dynamic exchange platform for ideas and skills.
