- Part of series: Art Meets Tech
Together with artist Amandine David, we will explore weaving as a digital language and as a method of co-creation. Using spreadsheets and open source software, we will learn to create patterns and weave designs.
Amandine David is a Brussels-based designer specialising in the combination of traditional crafts and digital technologies. In her work, she combines techniques such as 3D printing, weaving and digital knitting to create innovative, hybrid designs. She is co-founder of the nomadic residency programme Hors Pistes, which promotes exchange between artisans and contemporary designers.
The Art Meets Tech series explores visual art, music, narrative and craft, highlighting technologies such as AI, Web3, immersive technologies, digital fabrication and creative coding. With predominantly online workshops and hybrid formats, the programme offers hands-on experiences, critical discussions and networking within a diverse European community. It invites you to discover how technology is reshaping art and how art is redefining technology - a dynamic exchange platform for ideas and skills.
