Gabi (30) is a creative type who has neither a career nor much work experience. She can be silly, brazen, and charming. She wrote a romance novel, but she’s not a romantic. She’s been dumped by the boyfriend who was taking care of her monetary needs. And now she needs to find a job and take responsibility for her life and finances. But what she can do to earn money…?
Since her break-up, Gabi tries to forget her sorrows with alcohol and easy sex. And through her new lifestyle, she finds that she has a talent for one-night-stands. But she also discovers, that men who were perhaps a bit sad or insecure before sex, have more confidence post-coitus. This is the niche with which she can earn money! Gabi decides to offer the social service of pity sex.
She puts together a business plan: Clients hire Gabi for a friend whose self-confidence or self-worth can use a boost. She meets this friend “by chance” at a bar or a party and then convinces him to take her home with him for the night. She will try to suss out what he needs and what his hang-up is. Then she will do what she can to fix it. There will be no strings attached as it will seem like a one-night-stand and the guy won’t find out that he’s the trick in a sex-for-hire transaction.
What could go wrong? Other than awkward sex, hurt feelings, an unnatural need for antibiotics, and the possibility that a “john” will fall in love with Gabi, or worse: the other way around. . .
