Our monthly book club meets up on a Tuesday evening, approx. ten times a year, at the Institute in Glasgow. In an informal atmosphere we discuss (in German at level B2/C1 and higher) a contemporary novel, short story or a collection of poems which participants read before we meet up.

Participants either buy the title themselves, or borrow them from our library or eLibrary. Participation in the book club is free of charge.

Everybody interested in German literature is warmly invited to attend. New members are very welcome!

The book club meets in-person at the Goethe-Institut Glasgow’s library. If you’re interested in attending a book club digitally instead, please check out our events calendar!

Please contact library-glasgow@goethe.de to receive further information.

They are usually available to downland for free in our digital library 'Onleihe' or available for loan in our library. For the latter you require a library membership.
